Future Lux

Future Lux is the idea behind Ardistia New York’s Fall/Winter 2014 Holiday collection. This collection references the old definition of the high fashion “Haute couture”, but expressed in contemporary perspective, such as artisanal process, exquisite material, and high quality finishing. The silhouette is everything and the hand finished detailing. Exquisite but understated. Color is key in strong sculptural and graceful shapes, making the collection is sleek, sophisticated and very charismatic.

Fabrics are soft, tailoring fluid in light summer crepe, paneling with ultra-light transparent tulle and gentle silk chiffon. Combination of geometric emerald organza is the highlight of the collection. Colors are vibrant and glowing; flaming red, yellow mustard, emerald green and purple, all the bright colors. But the exquisite simplicity of the material accentuates the powerful shapes.

The Key Pieces are the soft tailoring emphasizes on the proportion cut shapes. Nothing fitted; the garment always leaves room for movement. Floating blouse with cut-out detailing and slit, boxy jacket, and the summer coat with ultra-light novelty fabric.
